Dr. Ivana Kostić is the Co-founder and CEO of Health Tech Lab, a leading international platform dedicated to accelerating health innovation, particularly in emerging countries. Under her leadership, Health Tech Lab won first place at the DEEP Ecosystems Acceleration Program in 2024 and was previously recognized as a healthtech, medtech, and biotech (super)cluster through the USAID-funded Serbia Innovates project. In 2020, it received the Best Ecosystem Practice award from the UN-based International Telecommunication Union, becoming a model for ecosystem development in other developing countries.

Ivana also serves as a Technology Transfer Manager within the SAIGE – Serbia Accelerating Innovation and Growth Entrepreneurship Project, a collaboration between the World Bank and the Ministry of Science, Technological Development, and Innovation of Serbia, and as an Innovation, Tech Transfer and Community Expert of the Interreg Adrion InnovaBlue project for the Innovation Center of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade, supporting innovation and commercialization efforts at leading research institutes. 

She holds a PhD in Bioengineering Systems from the MIT Portugal Program, where she specialized in cardiac regeneration technologies with commercialization potential. Combining experience in research, entrepreneurship, and technology transfer, Ivana is passionate about connecting science, business, and society to drive sustainable impact through innovation.
