Ivana Popović – CORE Days

She was born on February 20, 1989 in Belgrade, in the Republic of Serbia.

She graduated from the Faculty of Economics of Singidunum University in Belgrade.

She started her professional career in publishing, when in 2006, together with her mother as a business partner, she started the first Russian-language magazine in Montenegro, and a few years later, the women's monthly "Ona Magazin", which was distributed on the territory of Serbia. , Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Canada. Her work engagement was focused on marketing, press and distribution, and she also gained experience in the field of graphic design.

She founded the "Džemara" brand in 2018 and opened a plant in Krupanj that deals with the production of fruit and vegetable delicacies.

She began to engage in political work in 2019, as a member of the Serbian Progressive Party. In the 2020 parliamentary elections, she was elected as a member of parliament from the "Aleksandar VuÄić - for our children" list.

She was appointed to the position of State Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Sector for Rural Development in 2022, and by the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, she was re-elected to the same position on May 30, 2024.
